Some may require that you mail the original to them, but most of the time the mystery shopping company requests that you upload a scan or digital photo of the receipt.

Ritter is a piss poor paying company that once had a shop at a hardware store that paid $7 with a $2 purchase reimbursement. Thankfully, I was signed up with another MSC that had this account that paid $10 for the report and $20 for a purchase reimbursent. Which company would you rather work for? To top it off, which I asked Ritter for a bonus to bring them up to being competitive with the other MSC having this account, they promptly deactivated me.
